The use of artificial emery

 (1) Artificial emery as an abrasive, can be used for abrasive, such as wheels, whetstone, grinding, sand tiles and so on.

 (2) Artificial emery as a deoxidizing agent and high temperature metallurgical materials.

 (3) Artificial emery crystal of high purity can be used to manufacture semiconductors, manufacturing silicon carbide fibers.

Artificial emery there are four main application areas, namely: functional ceramics, advanced refractories, abrasives and metallurgical materials. Silicon carbide has been able to present large supply of coarse material, can not be considered high-tech products, and high-tech application of nano-silicon carbide powder is impossible to form short-term economies of scale.
