river sand

River sand has no taste, sea sand has brackish; River sand particles is smooth, relatively clean and wide source; Compared with river sand, mountain sand has edges and corners, rough surface, clay content and containing organic impurities.  Sea sand often mixed with shell fragments and containing more salt, most sand containing excessive chloride ions, corrosion of reinforced concrete, leading to structural damage, and shorten the safe life of the building，though it has some advantages of river sand.

General engineering used to use river sand, they should be tested according to technical requirements if use mountain sand and sea sand.
